Disc Couplings

SIBRE‘s range of Disc Couplings includes flexible jaw, pin-type, and gear coupling configurations to accommodate torque capacities from 6,500 Nm to 88,000 Nm.

AFC-AS - Flexible coupling

Claw type coupling design utilizing an elastomer element for excellent vibration damping and misalignment accommodation. The key feature of the AFC coupling is the ability to replace the flexible element without axial displacement of the motor.

APC-AS - Pin coupling with brake disc

ZKES

ZKES - Gear coupling

Heavy-duty gear-tooth design for high torque transmission with the ability to accommodate greater misalignment than rigid couplings. Proven reliability in the most demanding crane and material handling applications.

  • Brake disc change possible without axial displacement of motor
  • Low-wear interlocking and small tooth clearance

ALC-AS - Flexible coupling with brake disc

Alternative flexible coupling design specified for unique application requirements where standard AFC or APC configurations cannot be accommodated.

N Series - Rigid hub with bolted disc

Versatile brake disc solution facilitates brake installation on end shafts.

  • Nominal Torque capacity up to 88,000 Nm (custom designs beyond 88,000 Nm available)
  • Disc sizes up to 1200 mm diameter, available in carbon steel, stainless steel, or Bisalloy® 80
