SB
The SB series encompasses SIBRE’s range of special design industrial drum brakes for applications where standard TE series configurations cannot be accommodated. These specialized variants address unique installation constraints, environmental challenges, and operational requirements while maintaining the proven reliability and performance expected from SIBRE drum brake technology.
Available in three distinct configurations, the SB series provides solutions for space-limited installations (SBH with overhead thruster mounting), environments with excessive airborne contaminants (SBG gravity-applied design), and applications requiring manual operation (SBM hand-wheel actuation). All SB series brakes conform to DIN 15435 dimensional standards and are supported by SIBRE Australia’s local spare parts inventory and technical expertise.
SBG – Gravity-Applied Design
- Gravity-applied operation with electro-hydraulic thruster release
- No external spring tube eliminates contamination risk

SBM – Manual Operation
